Face Covering Guidance in Construction

MSAFE - Face coverings in construction

Please view the latest update from CLC regarding use of face coverings in construction.

This is broadly in line with wider government advice. This states:

“You should also wear a face covering in indoor places not listed here where social distancing may be difficult and where you will come into contact with people you do not normally meet.”

You can also refer to HSE guidance on use of face coverings.

It is important to emphasise face coverings are only an additional measure and priority should be given to the social distancing controls and hygiene practices outlined in the CLC SOP Rev 5 and Government Covid Guidance for Construction.
